Tech2 Service Bay Test

I have successfully connected my car to my laptop using tech2 software

i however cannot find the Service Bay test specifically to do the evap test

i choose North America Option
than I choose my 2004 Corvette. Y build

and when I go to F2 (special functions)

I do not have anything related to service bay testing

where is this option? I am so lost

i googled it and it’s missing from my special function submenu

this is the submenu that opens:

F0: Engine output controls
f1: transmission output controls
f2; fuel system
f3: tac System
f4; crankshaft pos. Variation learn
f5: misfire graphic
f6: request pcm/vcm info. For SPS
F7; request VTD info for sps

anyone know where it’s buried at?

my twch2 is

North America operations ( software version 33.004)

Is your Tech 2 a “Chinese Clone” or a REAL Tech 2 ??…if clone that may be your problem.

probably a clone
i bought it off Amazon under someone’s recommendation on this forum through googling haha

If you paid $200-300 it’s a clone…if you paid $2000-3000 it’s a real Tech 2…if you are trying to get through inspection if you follow the criteria to pass EVAP if will pass.

I paid $150

yewh I’m trying to force evap to pass asap to pass smog lol

i don’t have the luxury of time and to keep burning fuel for no reason and evap to still not be ready

And make sure you don’t have any current or pending trouble
codes that may keep the EVAP IM Monitor from running.

is that alright? Or should I clear them and try again.

History are OK…pending is if a trouble code sets after 2 ignition cycles and the first one failed but after the second time it fails it will set.

Alright so if it says 0 DTC means there are 0 pending?

Try an earlier model year. Try 2000. IIRC correctly, they took that out sometime after 2001.

hey, so I haven’t tried it just yet

but good news I just looked at the software and your right the year 2000 has it

I will try to do an evap test in a few hours

UPDATE:::

So I get an error trying to start the evap test
At the start
it says put ignition to OFF
wait 10 seconds and than ON but not starting engine

i get an error saying service test not available
