Folding Top adjustments
Hello, C5 newby here
Messed around with C3's { 70 , 72 } for a number of years. Finally moved on to a 21st centuary vette, and BOY !! , things have changed.
2002 Base model convertable. Had a new top put on after we bought it a year and a half ago. Just started having problems with the drivers side latch at the windshield. The tapered pin on the top isn't lining up with the tapered hole in the reciever on the windshield. Not only is it off front to back, it's also off to the left. And the passenger side works great. We shimmed the reciever away from the windshield about an 1/8 " just to get by. I have looked on Corvette Forum and not found much to help me. I could really use some help and maybe a reference to a good service manual for the C5.
