Quick back story first. I just bought this car a week ago, just happens to be my first Corvette, and when I bought it it was saying "BO RFA NO COMM." Checked fuse, confirmed its getting power to the connector and it has continuity all the way back to the BCM star link plug on the pink wire. So, I disassembled the RFA box and found a lot of corrosion. I'm wanting to get a second opinion because I'm pretty sure its shorted since it has a lot of corrosion. I cleaned it and put it back in and it's still saying no comm.
Car is a 2003 Z06 with 109,000 miles on it.
So, if the consensus is that it's bad, do any of you guys know of where to buy one or is anyone on here just happens to be selling one?
There are business that specialize in repairs to electronic modules like the RFA, you can of course buy used from eBay or salvage yards that specialize in corvettes.
Looks fried to me. Your only source for a replacement is likely a salvage yard or eBay. You need the -01/-04 style which are hard to come by and desirable for upgrading to on the -97/-00 corvettes.
