Parasitic drains are far from rare on the C5. I’d suggest a google search of “c5 corvette parasitic battery drain” — you’ll find many forum threads where others have had similar issues.

Dallas, you should have a sealed battery for the C5. Underneath the battery tray are many electrical connections you really, really, don't want battery acid ruining.
Some very early C5s had an issue with the batteries cracking and leaking all over that critical area.
Most of us are using AGM type batteries now, most of the brands have them. I like Optima. https://www.optimabatteries.com/products/redtop-34-78/

Exactly what I was thinking. You NEED TO REMOVE THE BATTERY and neutralize any spilled acid that dripped on harnesses, connectors and the frame. Too many people have experienced significant damage from ignored or unknown acid spills.

IMHO, If were ME, I would remove the passengers inner fender liner access panel and do a detailed inspection on things in that area. Auto Parts stores sell an ACID INDICATING/ NEUTRAZLING SPRAY that does a really good job. You can also do a baking soda liquid wash flush. If the frame is corroded/rusted, do a wire brush cleaning, rust converter application and repaint with Krylon Semigloss black.
