Valve cover torque spec

I’m changing the gasket and washer grommets and I don’t know what the torque specs are also I’d like to put some blue lock tight on the bolts. Thank you

They are only 8 or 10mm bolts....so "snug"?

No need for blue loctite

They are NOT 8 or 10mm bolts. They may need an 8 or 10mm SOCKET, or wrench, but they are M6 bolts.....

Torque spec for the rocker arm cover bolts is 106 INCH/lbs, per the GM shop manual.

Leadfoot4's personal "tech tip"......when replacing the grommets, the new ones are frequently rather "brittle" when coming out of the package. Warm them in hot water for a while, to make them more pliable, and easier to slip over the bolts, and a little oil won't hurt.
