Default Need help!

I bought a 1998 C5 Corvette with no engine and plan on putting a 5.3LS in it with a cam kit. The f body oil pan won't fit due to subframe clearance. I'm curious if to avoid batwing oil pan cost if a C6 oil pan will bolt onto a 5.3LS? I've seen post that a C6 oil pan will bolt to an LS1 and that a C5 Batwing oil pan will bolt directly to a 5.3LS, So does that mean a C6 oil pan would bolt directly to the 5.3?

Moved to C5 Tech/Performance. If you do not get any answers, perhaps try in the C6 Tech section.

Yes, LS2/3 Oil pans and matching oil pick ups will work in a C5. In fact, If you use a C6 oil pan, you can actually run C6 headers in your C5.
