So I’ve been struggling with my car going into reduced power engine power so I replaced the tps sensor and did the realearn but that didn’t work at all. So I replaced the battery and that didn’t help. So I decided to send it to a shop. The shop Is saying I need a new throttle body because when I was at the shop he scanned and it was open 12% at idle it’s supposed to be at 0%. I’m just wondering if that could still just be the tps senor? Because I honestly don’t know if I bought the correct one

It helps if you provide the year and model of your car.
Do you have a multimeter, capable of reading schematics, and doing the necessary repairs yourself?
What codes did the shop find when they scanned ?
Why do you question the TPS you bought? Did the shop suggest it was not reading correctly?
