Alternator Interchangeable?

Alternator Interchangeable?
Still stuck on replacing my 2002 Manual Coupe alternator, 90% sure it is the alternator.
I've done some reading and I'm curious if anyone would know if the 01-02 Automatic Alternator #10316182 would work with a manual that normally came with #10246634.

The alternators are almost identical except the auto's had a decoupler on them to improve efficiency and lifetime of the part.
Would this one work properly on a manual without giving a charge system fault?

I'm on my second season with "this" alternator. I occasionally get a charge system fault. Press reset and carry on. I really like having the decoupler for my supercharged set up as it theoretically reduces belt whip.

It's been about 2 years of use and I've never had a single issue. My GUESS is it sees higher than normal current on start up which is why theres a "charge system fault" and then clears. It's a 220 amp alternator so much higher than oem. I do everything with the car so it's certainly been put through the ringer.
