Heads Up Display
03 Anniversary Edition -
HUD has water spotting (i’m guessing) on the underside of the clear HUD panel in the dash.
Any advice on removal of the dash HUD panel surround to avoid damage? Any other suggestions for cleaning?
Any help is welcome.

Thanks for your input. I’ll wait until I have another reason to get into the dashboard to address this. Not a serious problem but the HUD is cloudy in certain lighting. I appreciate your prompt response.

there was a thread on here for the procedure of removing the dash pad, I installed a Hud on our C5Z, seems like the dash was off in less than a half hour, i am a Mechanic so there's that !!

Dash Pad Removal
Thanks for this information. If anyone can direct me to the C5 dash pad removal process I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve done various cars over the years and have yet to find on example that didn’t involve some unexpected and serious challenges.

This is fantastic, right down to fabrication of my own tool to avoid breaking those pesky plastic tabs that are always present and always break.
This simple question and the advice it provided will keep me a lifetime member of this forum. I hope I can help someone else as much as I have been helped.
We won’t know for a while whether this works for me cause I’m not quite ready to tackle it yet. BUT, I couldn’t have asked for a better result when I raised my question about the HUD.
