I am working on my 2004 Chevy Corvette replacing a passenger side window regulator assembly. I am using Dorman 748-473. Unfortunately, I have the 2nd design motor pigtail(PT2072) on my harness and Dorman's motor has the first design(same as driver side). Does anyone know where I can get an adapter harness/connector?

I purchased a NOS OEM regulator with the proper connector. I will be returning the Dorman regulator. I also informed them they should include an adapter in future kits. No thanks to GM for changing the design without future support.

If this experience triggered you.........you have a long road ahead of you partner. This is a late change in the run think it started surfacing about 10 years ago....,but it will not be the last unique item you find on that 2004. You dodged a bullet, because Dorman is mosty crap anyway.
Stay away from Amazon
Stay away from ebay motors (unless you can find a 100% seller with the exact p/n you need).
Take pictures before you order, so you know what your end looks like.....and research.

I know what you mean. Nothing surprises me with GM. Some of the crap I seen at the Bowling Green and Fairfax Assembly plants was amazing. I do like their product and have been buying their cars for 30 years.
Dorman can be a hit or miss. Dorman does design some of their products, but they source a lot of their products as well. All the aftermarket window regulators are probably sourced from the same manufacture; they all look exactly the same. We should be thankful they still make parts for Corvettes.
