Replacement Rear view mirror
I have an 04 c5 base automatic I think I saw on here that other Chevrolet or GMC rear view mirrors will fit the tab that is glued onto the windshield and will allow you to just get another mirror from maybe a newer vehicle, is that possible and if so what other mirrors will work? My rear view mirror vibrates and makes a noise that sounds just like there's something loose in the dash but when i hold the rear view mirror the sound instantly goes away plus you can see the mirror vibrating. I have the twilight mirror setup in my car.

You may consider removing the mirror to see if the rattle can be addressed.
