Hello, I just purchased a 2003 zo6 with only 17,296 original miles. All stock except the exhaust. Only problem I'm having is keeping the battery up., Can I charge the battery hooked up inside the car at 2amps? Inst. panel says charging at 14.03 volts. If I need to change battery some good suggestions?

You can shop around maybe three different reputable places and maybe also look into the nearest interstate battery location and then there's also a batteries Plus you can reach out to to see who can accommodate you as far as fair pricing and a good quality battery. If you're looking for troubleshooting, usually if you pull up to your nearest batteries Plus or interstate batteries, they can also try to help you find out... but feel free to give them a call beforehand so that they can confirm the steps and process with you in person or over the phone (preferably in person).

The one thing you should do is measure the cars sleep mode current drain, it should be around 25ma. A C5 corvette with a good battery should be able to sit for around 3 weeks, if you don't start and run the car for any period of time over three weeks you should invest in a trickle charger.
