Hey guys - I replaced my center control withe a Merta to accomodate a double DIN stereo. Everything is seated, but due to what I assume is poor QC from Merta there are some inconsistent gaps between the console and the dash. Any tricks to fix this? Anything folks are using to fill in the gaps?
Can't find the thread now, but recently another forum member posted his solution and it eliminated the gap completely. What he did is he bent the metal bracket where the screw goes into behind the ashtray. This allowed the mounting screw to pull in the bezel closer to the dash. He posted before and after pictures but I can't seem to find it.
