Telescopic steering column
My column is all the way in to the dash and will not come out. When I use the button there is a click that sound almost like a relay click but the column does not move. Is there a manual way to move the column out?
I have looked through the forum threads and cannot find what I'm looking for.
Any advise is helpful.

The switch isn't difficult to replace if it failed. Make sure the wiring harness to your driver's seat is plugged in and/or not damaged. The module for the telescoping column is under the seat and is part of the seat harness. Does your power seat work?

Engage the switch with some force. More than just a regular pull.
Click it back and forth a few times or when ever possible.
Mine was finickie but I never had to replace it.
I do not think it can be moved manually.
