I just pulled the water pump off my 01 Z06, and compared it to the GM-12681185 which is supposed to be the replacement. The stock LS6 on the left looks way more beefy than the new GM. Do I have the correct replacement?
The most important side is not shown. It should have the p/n 12681185 cast into the pump (aka ACDelco 251744). You will need the two piece thermostat housing and thermostat with this as well.
The one on the left in your picture looks like the NAPA pump I bought a few years ago.

The new one has the 12681185 casting number. I already got the new housing and thermostat.
