Roll bar available for convertible?
I've looked and looked, can't find one anywhere for the C5 convertible. :(
Anyone know of a vendor that sells them? Or are we talking custom fab...
Thanks!

Contact Speedworks in Lewisville, Texas (North Dallas). They have done some really nice ones. Click on their link to the left.

Re: Roll bar available for convertible? (Huggles)
I remember a guy that had one that had a removable center bar. I think he got it installed from a company in Arizona. The name was something like US Muscle. Roll bar in a convertible looks like :U
On second though it was something like American muscle.

I know rollbars don't look good in convertibles, but I don't want the pavement-facial if I crashed. :)

Re: Roll bar available for convertible? (C5 StockSwap)
SPEEDWERKS just installed my 6 pt roll bar with center removable bar in my pewter black vert and it looks about as awesome as a rollbar in a vert can look. Very nice piece indeed but not cheap! I am sure that Joe Cruz forum name THE ONE who has the same bar and who turned me on to this package, will post here and display pictures of his vert with the Speedwerks bar, said pictures being displayed in his signature.
Call Speedwerks near Dallas Texas and you will be surprised how nice and functional this bar is!

Wolf builds a nice one. Lots of people have them and they are an awesome fit. You can buy bolt in or weld in.
I bought the bolt in and installed it myself.

To make it legal and safe as well the cover will need to be notched for the two rear hoops. Its not as bad as it sounds..

Jeff,
Are those special racing seats that you have to accomdate those racing harnesses or are those stock C5 vert seats?
THanks,

These are the stock seats out of my car, but REB's had an upholstry shop cut and sew the seat bottoms for the lower belt.

Re: Roll bar available for convertible? (Huggles)
Here is the one Al was talking about. It's in a car we have listed FS. It's a bolt-in, says it's NCCC and SCCA legal. He might entertain an offer if you wanted to buy it.

Exotic Muscle, I believe in Tempe AZ. It is not NHRA legal.

Correct - NCCC & SCCA only, is my understanding.
