This is my year for electrical gremlins. Went to back my car out of the garage this morning, and upon pressing the brake pedal, all night time dash, armrest and HVAC lights illuminated and front marker lights cut off. Rear brake lights did illuminate. Repeated the brake pedal press several times with the same result. After the last press, Service Active Handling message appeared on the DIC along with the Icon on the dash cluster and a C1295 code showed. Possible failed brake light switch? I have installed all exterior lighting with LED's, along with a Hyper Flash harness, and all have been functioning perfectly for the last 2 years.
More info - with headlights on, lights function normally with the exception of the inboard right tail light which does not illuminate even with brake application.
Anyone with any ideas where to start looking for this one?
