I have an 03 Z06 that is getting the pull key error displayed despite having the LMC5 bypass installed. Looking for some assistance in troubleshooting further or if there is some other bypass worth trying. Some things I noticed:
Initially the error would not show after the bypass was installed.
A day later when I picked up the car the error started showing intermittently.
After driving it for a few days I noticed that the error would only show on a cold start but not on a warm one.
I tried charging the battery overnight and voltage checked out alright but error showed when starting the car.
Today I disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and then reconnected, started car and no error.
I did a few quick restarts and error remained gone, I did not drive the car.
Let it sit for 30 mins and started the car, no error and did not drive it.
Started the car after another 30ish minutes and then the error showed up again.
I don't have many diagnostic tools other than a multimeter at the moment. Any suggestions on what to try/check? Has been ongoing for a few months now.

Most likely a bad battery…being able to charge it fully doesn’t mean anything…have it load tested !!
The guy that did the install has apparently reached out to them and not gotten very good support but I will try reaching out myself if battery tests good.
got the battery tested and they said it's good health and not borderline bad or anything. I was thinking of swapping out with optima red top regardless. Thoughts?

Just no need. This is not the battery causing your issue. Do the brown wire mod. You’ll thank me.
