Default 2000 Corvette Convertible

Can 18" & 19" or 19" & 20" wheels be used without any fitment modifications or negative effects to the cars suspension?
Currently, don't have any issues and want to keep it that way. But would entertain moving up in wheel sizes if it's a plug & play proposition.
Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

So long as width and offset are correct you will have no issues at all.
I have 18x8.5 front and 19x10 C6 wheels on my car, had to use a 20mm spacer for the rear wheels to correct the offset, and now they fit perfectly.

Thanks for the information. I am leaning towards 19" front and 20" rear. Tire size 285/30-19 front & 335/25-20 rear. I found a really nice set, but those are the sizes. I think they are off a C7 GS or Z06.

Those wheels fit a widebody car and will poke noticeably, on a C5 with oem fenders.

No, keep looking, those will not work on a C5 without flared fenders.
C6 and C7 narrow body wheels, like the ones on mine, are the only ones that can be easily adapted to a C5.

A 315 is the widest that can be fit on a stock C5 without looking obtrusive.

But only with the right wheel setup.

A 19x11 with a +67 or +68 offset and 325/30/19 tire will fit flush. My BC Forged 19x11's with +65 offset and 325's only poked around 1/8". With that latter wheel spec, a 315/30/19 would be a great fit also, as Grinder mentioned.

Probably 22 years ago I bought 18"×10.5" repop thinspokes for the rear of my C5. Came from Bob@House of Wheels. I don't know what the offset and backspacing specs are. But they work with the 315s, and keep the stock look, which is what I was after...

25-year old cars and I am still loving the performance and the lines of the C5! 😎🍻

You must be awfully close to the inner fenders. With my 315s the sidewall of my Michelin's are only about 1/2"-5/8" from it.....

What were your rear wheel specs? Max rear backspace I try not to exceed is 8.75". My 19x11's with +65 offset = 8.60". Tires never rubbed, anywhere.

1/2" to 5/8" clearance is plenty. Lots of guys are running oem C6Z wheels and those 19x12's have a +59 offset = 8.83". Most don't have clearance issues but some do.

As I stated in my post, #11, I don't know, or remember what the specs are. I suspect backspacing and offset are probably equal to a stock C5 Z06, since they're the same width. Too many years ago to remember the specs....

I do know one side is closer to the fenderwell than the other, not by much, but it is clos-er. I don't remember which side....
