LS2 silver blade is the easy-button solution but I see no reason to doubt the people who say that the gold blade works with the max travel limited to 97%.
I had into the over-travel issue with a Katech 103mm throttle body as well. After limiting it to 95%, it will hold full throttle with no issues. I still need to try 96 and and 97%. At the time, I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't happen again.
The problem with Katech's 103mm is that it doesn't flow any air until the blade has moved to about the 11% position, whereas the stock TB starts flowing at 4%. That makes idle tuning a PITA, especially for cold starts. And the REP mode barely flows enough air to move the car forward on level ground. I told the PCM to allow 50% throttle in REP, but the TAC has the final say and it sets the limit at 25%.
