This might be a little long and I’ll have to get more information later, but I wanted to start by saying in California a check engine light immediately fails your smog test so I didn’t do it yet. I know that my ABS and traction control unit lights are on when I reset them while driving I do get the brakes to feel like they rumble a little bit, but I’m sure that probably doesn’t mean that the unit isn’t bad. I reset my codes for the traction control and the check engine light is off. I’m assuming that after around 100 miles of driving, it’ll come back on? Is there any way to get around it by pulling a fuse or something to the ABS and does anybody know exactly what fuse that is?
OK, I’ve updated the codes that I’ve had and I’ve cleared them before but the historical codes come back. Do I have to get one of those scanners to actually permanently delete the historical codes? Oh and one last thing I absolutely have a bad parasitic draw, which I’m assuming is possibly that ABS pump but anyway my battery was dead. Can that cause a check engine light as well? I’ve cleared codes and now I need to drive 100 or so miles to see if it comes back on the traction control and ABS lights always come on.

I’m pretty sure that that is why my check engine light is on due to the traction control in the ABS when I go into my codes it’s a PCM code and when I clear it, the Check light obviously goes away. I’m assuming after 100 miles or so it comes back on. I haven’t done it in a while. It’s off right now, but the guy at the Wong station says your computer may not show that it’s ready yet to be tested, and it would fail them as well.

This. It feels like you want us to help but aren't giving us the means to do so.
Also, you can buy a cheap OBD2 dongle and download the appropriate app to check readiness as others pointed out. Last year I bought this cheap one to use with the Torque app on Android:
