Hello everyone, I’ve been rebuilding a c5 which was previously stripped down to every last bolt in the interior. While putting the radio bracket back in today I couldn’t figure out how to properly mount the airbag sensor which resides inside of it. There are three bolt holes but it’s impossible to get all three to line up at once. I was hoping to get some guidance on how that mounts, aswell as the yaw sensor which attaches in the same bracket. Below are pics of how I believe they’re attached, just wanna get this right so my airbags don’t grenade upon reinstallation! Thanks!
Thought I’d leave this here for anyone who may come across this issue in the future. There are apparently two different iterations of the center console bracket. I’m assuming they changed to different sensors halfway through the generation. I managed to get a different bracket and have attached pics of the two different kinds! One of them is from a wrecked car so is a little beat up.
