In most old school cam design there is more duration on exhaust than intake. ie 220/230 but some people have played around and made a fe wthat are reverse split ie 230/220 with more intake duration than exhaust. The F1 cam is the most popular it is like a 230/226 I think and it is making a good difference over the old school cams.

Stock cam is a split cam, has a longer duration exhaust than intake, reverse split is just the opposite, longer intake than exhaust. On stock is necessary to overcome poor exhaust flow through stock manifolds and exhaust. Put headers and free flowing exhaust on and more power can be made by increasing duration on intake side. You can get the same results by increasing lift on the intake side...
