Kevin if you talk to wade he uses a good one, that are in the $175 to 200 range, I bought a cloyes fire hardened gear double roller that was $400, when you see the competition set you will be surprised and wonder what kind of flimsy crap comes in the car, deff recomment at your power levels, after seeing the stock one and the new one I'm terrified at the thought of not having one for just my H/C package.
I’m running the Rollmaster double roller chain from SPDC. I consider it cheap insurance. They have two models. The standard model sells for $65 that includes a German made chain, billet steel gears, and oil pump spacers. The crank gear can be mounted in 9 different positions to adjust timing. For $20 more a heat-treated model with a Torrington bearing on the cam gear is available. According to MMS who installed my H/C, some machining of the timing case cover was necessary for clearance.
Get Cloyes True Roller (The Expensive ones) Can't go wrong Drag Guys all over the country running big big HP motors with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
