Just a matter of time that someone comes out with a killer intake that should help out heavily modded N/A motors, especially those running big cubes! :crazy: I hope that this ones the TICKET as i would LOVE to be able to pull 500rwhp on motor through my LOOSE DRAG CONVERTER A4 TRANNY.

If this thing can deliver, everyone and their mother will be in line to buy it. Heck, if it delivers 20 hp over the LS-6 intake they will sell a ton... It's just a matter of time before someone steps up and delivers a real intake for these engines. Go VARARAM!! :cheers:

:iagree: The guy who gets there first will make a mint and sell thousands, and once again I agree that the increase on a stock car will probably not be that significant as they breath fairly well for the stock setup but they may still pick up 10 to 20, but if you have a large cubic inch motor the gains should be significant as the ls6 manifolds are designed to feed 100 less cubes, its like having a 2-barrell carb on a 502 you can tune it to run and the size of the motor will still give a certain amount of torque and power but drop a good intake on and feel the diff.

Vararam, if you are listening, I would be willing to test it against the Weiand/Lingenfelter inatake manifold currently on my car and dyno both to show the difference. I've gotten pretty good at removing and installing the intake manifold so it won't be a big deal to do it a couple more times. :flag

I would be happy to try it while the blower is still on the motor to see how it works with FI and in a month or so when I put the 436ci NA in I would like to see how it works on big inch as compared to the zo6 intake.

Jim--can't remember who told me the flow numbers one of the tuners or heads guys when I was discussing having my new heads built, I will try to look up who I was talking to but apparently they flowed the intake or got the info from gm, It may have been Shirl Dickey can't remember for sure. They are getting the heads to flow apprx 330cfm whithout really opening the actual port openings very much, and the reason being that it wouldn't matter because the intake only flows about 280cfm.

WickedZoh6,Are you confused??Cartek's X-package makes in the range of 470rwhp with the LS-6 intake,when they get this new manifold for testing it could make more.
