fuel flow problem
I bought my '02 mn6 Coupe new, and it now has 24K miles on it. Is it normal
maintenance at this mileage to need a fuel injector flush and cleaning? The
car hesitates under 3K rpms, and the dealer tech told me that it was because
the car is not getting a steady gas flow. He said it probably picked up particles from old service station gas tanks. Should I be paying for this, or
should I insist it be covered by the warranty? I can't believe that at only 24K
miles the car is performing like this. I've always only used premium gas, and
I pretty much only fill up at a local, well maintained Shell station. It just
doesn't make sense to me that a car this new has had as many problems as
it's having (active handling/traction control sensor problems also). Your comments are greatly appreciated.
