Is the noise in the rear or the front of the car? I had a clunking noise in the rear it turned out to be the hanger which holds the muffler in place when I would turn it would shake the muffler which in turn would hit the back of the car
Check the torque on the sway bar end links. The book says they need to be torqued to 65-75 lb-ft. I've had a clunk in the rear that was due to an endlink being too loose.
it is the front sway bar (it is too lose) i ha the same thing.
only happens in slow parking lot turns :nono:
you can fix it yourself :flag that is the good news
Bob--Had it on mine when it was under warranty. The tech retorqued the end links and checked/retorqued the rest of the front end suspension linkage. Got some pretty crappy roads out here in Texas. The tech said it was common on vettes that experience rough road surfaces on a regular basis.
