Default clutch

So i found out that the throwout bearing is on the slave cylinder. If im replacing the clutch, should I also replace the slave cylinder, and how much harder is this to do?

Yes, go ahead and replace the slave. Once you have the drive line out its simple.

The slave cylinder and throwout bearing are sold as one piece.
Should be between 60 and 75 bucks. Made for GM by AP racing.
The latest Z06 slave is the one to have. If you're going to all the troubel of opening up the drive line, might as well replace as much as you can of the wearable parts, so you don't have to go back in there. IT's kind of a PITA.

Pressure/vacuum bleed the hydraulics after you're done. There can be a significant difference between pumping the master and bleeding, and doing a pressure bleed.

Email me if you need some more help, I just did a clutch job on my car about 3 weeks ago.
You have to disconnect the quick release line to get the slave/T/O out, and then take the whole drive line out. There is no additional work involved; taking out the slave is part of the procedure.

Oh yeah, might as well do the pilot bearing while you're at it. It's like $8 for the bearing.
Good luck
