Default help with edit tune.

Can someone explain the LS1 edit tune to me. Does this have to be done at a shop or is it a purchase and install. My car is a 99 6-speed. Only mods are twin flo intake, corsa pace exhaust, and relocated reprogramed MAS. Is the edit tune worth doing on a car this close to stock? Also can anyone recomend a performance shop in the Massachusetts (eastern) area familiar with these cars? Sorry for the newbie questions but have to start somewhere.

This will probably get moved to the tuner section, but you can go one of three ways. 1) Is to pay a tuner with LS1-Edit to do it. 2)Is to buy it outright and do it yourself on a laptop. 3)Is to go in with one or more friends and split the slightly higher price and all be able to use it. Go to Carputing.com for more info. I purchased mine outright, and what I can't do I get a friend on this forum to help with, we e-mail my LS1-Edit program back and forth, it's too cool!!!!!!!!!!!
