Default Best Plug Wires ?

It seems that many favor the NGK TR55's for plugs..... I'm at 40K on my 2k LS1 and getting ready for plugs and wires. What set of wires are recommended for Street / Cruising ?

wire don't really matter that much IMHO unless you have headers.

I like the MSD wires but even with the Kool Sox I burn them alot :mad

I get MSD wires for a fair price so I'm leary about getting better more expensive wires and then burning them too.

Do Taylor or Nology resist heat any better?

I've been running headers with GM performance wires for two years with no problems.

I put in the Ngk TR55's but didn't replace the wires because I had heard problems about burning...and the fact that they probably don't help too much, and everything is working fine afterwards.

My stock wires were causing misfires on my 98 at 38K miles. I installed Magnecore's and noticed an immediate improvement in idle quality. IMO the stock plugs and wires are junk. :smash:
