Have you done a comparison of ground clearance between your old headers, your new ones, and FLP's? That'd be interesting to see.....ground clearance is a BIG issue for people that like to lower their vettes and have to drive it everyday.
We just sent the final prototype back to Borla, with our approval. that means that within 2 weeks, they will be on their Production schedule. and then within 1 to 2 weeks after that, we should start seeing the product!
thanks to those who have placed "Pre Production" orders.
Any word the development of those new high-flow cats from Random? I'm still interested in a header/cat/x-pipe package.
I'm sure Jeremy or Lou will chime in, but I think they have made it clear that it will be some time before they have news on the Random cat setup. As much as I'd like to take advantage of the early bird pricing, I want cats out of the box and will wait until they are developed or go with the custom LG long tubes.
Yeah, I know I'm being like a kid impatiently wanting a new toy here. I'm also looking for a complete kit out of the box. The early bird pricing is just so attractive.

The first batch of headers will be offroad only. By the time the second batch of headers are ready we should be ready to offer our entry level cats. These cats will retrofit to the intial offroad systems. Ultimately we will be offering the catalytic converters in 2 versions. The initial version will be a low priced cat that will meet all EPA requirements. The second version is a new “High Flow” metal matrix cat that will not reduce the horsepower output by any significant amount. Pricing and availability to be announced in the coming weeks.
I have a question I can't seem to find an answer to. Since I won't be running cats with these headers, there is no reason to run the AIR injection system. I will therefore be removing this as its not needed, dead weight, and adds to the clutter. I know F-body guys can buy block off plates, but I have yet to find these for a C5. Any info appreciated

The block off plates from an f-body should fit, the actual connection on the header is the same. Let us know when you order them and we can make sure your headers will have provious to block them off too.
I actually already placed my order for these headers, since they haven't been made yet is it too late? Please let me know, thanks

If I was in Texas right now, I'm afraid the car would already have heads, cam, and a new clutch just to keep up on the streets. Guess, I can’t stop the inevitable especially with all the Georgia people looking.
