Although I don't have pics to post...I mounted 2 coolers, one on each side of the Vortex Rammer and cut the shroud to allow the air to be forced through the coolers. It looks neat & custom, dosen't obstruct the radiator, and stays a minimum of 20 degrees cooler than the coolant temp.
Don't have any good pics, but mounted mine (bought all the parts including cooler from Manny, Moe, and Jack :D ) on the passenger side of the shroud next to the Blackwing. Cut a square hole under cooler. Easy mod and a must if you are in a hot climate. Looks like you do not have to worry about that.

Sounds very similar to my set-up, except I did 2...one on each side.
I'm going with a B&M transcooler but I will be using braided hose and threaded fittings instead of clamps. Does anybody know what the fitting size is on the transmission line?

Bill - you might want to consider getting the B&M racing tranny cooler (better than the 24000). I tried both and the racing cooler is a big improvement. Hope this helps.
Perhaps I should have asked around a bit more before I ordered the 24000 :banghead: However, I did order a 3qt finned aluminum pan so maybe the combination will be enough.
Is this the standard 4L60E pan from B&M, part# 70260? If so, the drain/fill hole is on the bottom of the pan and may cause an issue when trying to refill the tranny. Does B&M have a new pan with a side plug available? I have seen several custom pans, but they tend to be a bit pricey.

I don't know the part number. The pan must have a hold drilled in the side for the filler plug. Contact Eric at Rebs Specialties in Reseda, CA. They can give you all the details. http://www.rebsspecialties.com
