This is from the code discription in the service manual: The backup lamp circuit is part of a standard backup lamp system except for the addition of a relay and the BCM providing a control circuit. The BCMcan ground the backup lamp relay control circuit in order to energize the relay and turn ON the backup lamps, allowing the backup lamps to be used for Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) and approach lighting functions. The BCM monitors the voltage level on the backup lamp control circuit. Whenthe BCM commands the relay ON, the voltage level on the control circuit should be low. When the relay is OFF, the voltage level should be high. If the BCM detects a voltage level other than expected, a malfunction ispresent and a DTC will set ---If u have any ???? PM me
I found it. I used "Scissors' C5 Secrets" to disable the DRLs by pulling the #2 fuse in the passenger-side engine compartment block.
Turns out that pulling that fuse sets B0502, B0507, and B2482.
Thanks, C4C5 Tech!

Oh...thinking about thoughtful touches - that's a nicely-designed fuse block, good seals, spaces for spare fuses, spare fuses included, and fuse-puller included. Nice touch.
