Tech II Programmer

Does anyone know if you can use a Tech II to re-program your fans when you change out the thermostat. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A Tech2 will not allow you to alter your fan settings on your car. What you can do is turn them on and off for testing purposes but as soon as you take the tool off, it will be back to stock. It is mainly a diagnostic tool however you can upload new flashes with it into the car's PCM but the flashes would have to come from GM.
