I've had these aftermarket Z06 wheels for about a year now and have a lot of problems with them leaking around the valve stems. The back wheels have never leaked, but the fronts, now thats a different story. Just got the left front fixed about a week ago and now the right front is leaking bad. Yes they do have the sensors. Why do they leak after weeks of no problems at all. Does the sensor work its way loose or is it something else? The right front hasn't leaked in 3 or 4 months and now air is pouring out from the stem. Any solutions or help? Sure hate to take this thing back to the Chevy store. They are getting tired of putting new o-rings on and it not fixing the problem. :mad :mad

I use to be in the Navy and have watched many mechanics butcher "O" ring jobs! If they are not lubercating the "O" ring prior to putting them on the stems or assembling the stems into the rims with out lubercation, they could be damaging the "O" rings. Take a look at the "O" rings when they take one of the leakers apart and see what it looks like. If it's all torn up, you have found your problem. If they look good, make sure that they are using the correct type "O" rings. If I remember correctly, at one time those "O" rings were hard to find and people were using what ever they could find to try to replace them.

I got rid of my chrome plated wheels because they get rusted on the inside (when putting on air it carries moisture) and start leaking after about a year or so depending how humid's the weather where you put air in.
