Default Electronic Climate Control acting "funky"...

Yesterday, the temps here in Northern Virginia were in the high 90's, but when I cranked-up my vette, the outside temp display read 44 degrees :banghead: After I drove about 5 miles, the temp display started going up like a slot-machine until it reached the correct temp of 99 degrees. I had no HVAC codes, so I'm thinking that it's either my inner or my outer temp sensor gone bad :yesnod: Any thoughts?

Its the outer sensor located on the passenger side just in front of the radiator shroud with a little tube sticking out. Replace both the sensor and the connector. The sensor is like $9 and the connector is like $25. Then use water proof heat shrink to seal the splice and the connector to the sensor.

This happens due to water corroding the connection between the sensor and the connection.
