wiper arm removal...help
Hope someone has an idea on removing the wiper arms...97 coupe...took the bolts off but the arms must be rusted on...put some liquid wrench onto them. anybody have any DIY tool to get them off without damageing the body/arms.

usually, the spring that forces the arm against the winsheild forces the arm to be in a slight bind on the post. It will come off, but it does take some elbow grease. No special tools should be require.

i had the same problem once, here is what i did... i tap the top of the screw with a small hammer and pull same time on the wiper make sure you put smal pice of wood on top of the screew it will come off after couiple taps. after come of clean the treads on the wipers mounts and lube them with silicone grease
