Clacking noise when accelerating...
I didnt notice this until just yesterday.. I usually always have the stereo on and have been doing work on it so its off...
Anyway, if im stopped and I take off not hard but a lil bit of a jolt I hear a clack noise coming from the passenger side.. Ill let off the gas and tap it again and here it again... It's not that loud but Im wondering what it could be?... Any Ideas...

Leave the car in gear and grab the rear passenger side tire. Rock it forwards and backwards. If it makes the same noise you are commenting on you need to have the rear axle nut tightened.

That noise is definetly coming form the back of the car on the passenger side.. Any other ideas guys?

Axle shafts perhaps... Is it more pronounced turning Left or Right?
On an unrelated note: How did you install your AMP's/Sub's, and where?

had the exact problem, sounds like it anyway ...kind of a thump or knock coming from the rear ..after three days in the shop it was determined the right axle was loose ..both right and left were tightened and all is well ..

Richin Chicago - I gotta try to do that tomorrow. Just trying to get ideas b4 hand.
dougatl - How exactly do you tighten that? Do you have any idea? Anyone else?
NRLAD - Thanks for the tip... lol the system... The whole rear area is a big box with all of the goodies in it. Its been a slow process and I have kinda lagged along with my friend on the finally lil touches. But in the coming days Ill have the lil touches finished and will post pictures and a lil write up on it. Stay tuned! :thumbs:
