Bad fuel pump?
I think I have a bad fuel pump because I'm only seeing 12 psi at the fuel rail (used a fuel pressure guage). I've got a '98 6sp so it has the old fuel system with the fuel pressure regulator in the engine compartment rather than at the fuel filter. I have changed the fuel filter as well. In any case the connector which goes to my fuel pump has 4 wires. What should the voltage be on these wires when the key is in the ignition? I just want to make sure it's the fuel pump and not something electrical preventing the fuel pump from running properly.

Good idea, which wires do I use in the 4 wire connector for my car? I guess 2 are to power the fuel pump and 2 are for the gas tank sender? Also there are 3 hoses coming from the fuel pump, one is for gas to the engine, one is for returning gas, what is the third one for (just curious)? Thanks.
