Not too long ago one of the vendors claimed the Stinger system was one of the few to show gains in Hp. They tested the Borla and claimed gains of 8-10Hp over stock and that it even out performed the Z06 system by 4 HP!
I haven't dynoed yet since putting my 2-tip Stingers on but I noticed immediately that the car revs much more freely with these than the Magnaflows. It was a startling difference.

The sound and looks are worth it. SOP says that there is a gain and they are 42 lbs lighter. If you use the 10lbs = 1hp, you pickup 4 hp just in weight. But there is more, the sound is awsome :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
Didn't really notice any power gain from mine. They will sound like you are going fast though. :reddevil You will scare young children and little old ladies.
The gain is much more significant as the engine horsepower increases. Here's a graph comparing the Stingers to a leading competitor (I'm guessing Corsa, but am not certain) on a Lingenfelter twin-turbo. Note the difference an exhaust can make!
I don't have any dyno #s, but before i put them on, the rear wheels would spin in 1st and 2nd. Now they spin in 3rd too. It seems to me like there was at least a little bit of hp gain from them.
even w/ that, the main reason for putting them on is the look & sound.
