??? abot door locks and fobs
Having intermittent problems with the push button door lock inside and occasional problem with BOTH FOBS unlocking the door...seems like whatever operates them inside the door....any ideas or experiences?
Sometimes have to initiate unlocking a few times before it works.

Mine does that occassionally... but a few cycles of the locks , and all is well.. I dont drive mine as much as I use to..when I was driving it every day there was no problems..

I would do a FOB relearn "see owners manual" and if that does not fix them, try new batteries in both. While they are open, clean the contacts with alcohol and then insert the new batteries. If that does not fix them, in my case I had to get new FOBs. E-Bay has them used for low dollars. If both act the same way you could have other electrical problems.

Just had both door control modules replaced in my '02. Fobs would not lock the car, but would set the alarm. Driver's door would unlock with the fob, but not the passenger side. PitA.

Thanks all, I think the batteries are OK, must be the "door control mod"...is that inside the door?
Amazing.....not many with my name out there, but I have built several custom Harleys....the last was featured in the May 2003 issue of Street Chopper!
