Well I am currently running sub 12 seconds NA and with tranny issues.. :-)
Heads, gears, TC, TB, Cam, Headers, Exhaust, and programming.. Have anough MPH to get into the mid to low 11's if I can get some traction off the line consistently.
3.90's 4.10's may actually cost you traction, especially on the street.

and since you're going to be switching the spring when you do you cam and will be working on the heads you may want to go ahead and just get ported heads as well....in fact i would go with heads before gears, but thats me....
do you have an a4 or m6? if you have an a4 get a used z06 rear diff cheap and install that...you can also get used ls6 head and a ls6 cam pretty cheap which should yield about 40 more hp if you don't want to fork over the $ for new parts...
