I run 32-33 psi cold in both the EMTs and the Falkens. I usually end up adding about 2 psi to whatever the manufacturer recommends (in our case 30 psi) which suits UK roads and my driving style.
My tyre over-pressure alarm goes off at 42 psi so if you leave the tyres at 42 psi you'll probably get an alarm go off a couple of miles down the road !
Who cares if you ruin a tire sensor? You can replace them for around $50 now and I'd rather spend an extra $50 and be on my way in minutes . . .
I don't disagree, and would suggest carrying both the fix-it kit and a can of goop. If the circumstances are not ideal for tire repair, then shoot in the goop and spend the cash on another sensor down the road. My flats have usually been spotted when I can do the fix without problems (I've just been lucky). It would be good to have the option

Not a bad idea. However, "lucky" would be to not get a flat tire at all! :yesnod:
Using the run flat version of these tires. Love them - so much better than the Goodyear run flats. Only have 33K on the set so far. I expect they will go the 50K that the Goodyears did. :steering:
Oldstrokers -- Are you saying you went thru 3 sets of Potenzas in 65,000 miles? That has to suck or you were having toooooooo much fun with the pedal to the floor.

Re: using non-runflats...help... (spoiled996)
im getting some non-runflats put on today. The Kuhmo MX ecsta...Goodyear is installing them, but says that using non-runflats will make my car ride like s**t. is this true? Seems like most people on here love getting of the run-flats.
You better check to see if your lug nuts are tightened. I wouldn't trust anyone who makes that claim -- pure :bs They'll ride much better.
