Reverse-split cam vs. normal - pros and cons?

Reverse-split cam vs. normal - pros and cons?
What are the main pros/cons between these cams (given similar lifts)? I'm especially interested in whether idle characteristics are any better/worse in one versus the other. :confused:

I don't recall anybody running a reverse split cam on this forum. You might want to post and do a search over on the LS1Tech.com forum, there have been quite a few of the F.body guys running reverse splits. I'm sure those guys will be able to answer your questions.
