I was on LS1.com and someone posted that a highstall converter killed their top end!
The post stated that from a roll at 60mph the converter killed any top end that he had before. Is this true? or does this only apply to LS1 TA's?
All I can tell you first hand is that Mario's 3.73's / Yank 3500 is one of the wildest rides. He dropped the hammer at 80 on I95 (highway) and it pulled to 120+ in less than 10 seconds. Maybe those guys have not had any reprograming work ... and gear shifts are off ?? http://www.converter.cc/ maybe Mike can provide some additional insight and proof.
