Halltech Trap Question
Does anyone know what type of filter is used for the TRAP? I am currently running a Donaldson and I know it is doing a good filtering job from some oil testing I have done, however I am curious about the TRAP. I don't think the Vararam filter is very good based on what I have read on this forum, but would be willing to switch out my Donaldson for a TRAP if the filter was good quality. Any information/data?????

I asked Jim Hall the same question, and this was his reply:
"Our TRAP filter is the best filter media on the market. Synthetic
Dupont ReMay. We tore an engine down after 22,000 miles with this
media, and had no carbon deposits at all. The bores were as smooth as
glass."
