But maybe I misunderstood or maybe you are mistaken since i see a few other power adder cars posting prior to mine.
But i beleve what you posted about - H/C + Bolt ons, Stock CID and No power adders is Phils set-up and how he got to the 10's not the criteria he is looking for
I think he was looking at getting a 10 second list going to see where people are and how they got there, but i may be mistaken if so - sorry :D
Australian Vette ran that time on a track with clocks at the end. Granted I thought it was cheesy...."He still ran it!" ;) There were no times etc.....He has held the record for awhile!
:lurk:
I thought it was a funny video.....don't get me wrong! He used to have it under his user name....look it up and see if it still there. He also had a website full of that kind of stuff.
The times have been set on NHRA or IHRA tracks but to some, the tracks aren't available. I was against his time, but seeing all the new "development" I think it is fair to include him.
All the "a run is a run", you still have to run it, "Doesn't matter the weather", "deosn't matter the track". It seems that handicaps are being set on people to benefit others.
I just brought him up to throw a little "twist" in ;)
What the hell was that :lolg: :lolg:. Those guys are on the metric system too so who knows if that was even really a 1/4 mile. Strange video but thanks for finding it.
Wasn't he offered to bring himself and the car over here and run at the same tracks on the same day? And that if he ran faster than the person making the offer that his entire trip would be paid for yet he still declined?
Could've sworn I'd read that somewhere.
I wasn't sure by your first post if you were looking for cars in the 10's by the criteria or where you saying thats what your car is???
Anyways ill post here
My new set-up been to the track once then got kicked out.
427 Iron block set-up for nitrous
60' ----------1.53
330' -------- 4.48
1/8 e/t----- 7.00
1/8 mph----97.88
1000'-------9.17
1/4 et ----- 10.99
MPH---- 123.28
Car was shifting kinda short and have a few bugs to work out and see if i can lower that E/T, im think i can squeeze another couple tenths. But what is gonna matter to be is how it react to nitrous and then go for the 9s

Re: 10 Second C5 Time List????? (z0sense)
Micheal is a great guy and i honestly believe he believes that he ran a 10.6 on the track he ran and with the timing device used, but lets face it, especially since his car was a H/C A4 and the fastest documented A4 H/C car on this forum is a 11.25, do you honestly believe he would of run a 10.6 in his h/c A4 on a American Track (more than .8 tenths faster than the fastest documented H/C A4 C5 on this forum)? No way JOSE, I seriously doubt it and would lay my $ that his time on a professional US track would of been much closer to an 11.6!! Not trying to discredit Michael but just stating the obvious here! :chevy :steering:
