On my way home, cruising 60 - 70 mph and broke my second REV spring within a month. REV springs are a joke now :mad
Anyone in DFW got More valve spring compressor tool?
:cry
Re: Broken second REV spring within a month (LittleBoyBlu99)
The Manley springs MTI use are great. :iagree:
Are Manley spings double springs?
I just opened them up and found the broken one. It is the second exhaust spring close to the driver side.
It's broken into 3 peices but the second spring's still OK to hold the valve up.

Re: Broken second REV spring within a month (Ben01C5)
I will contact REV to see what they are going to do for this.
We are using Isky or Comp springs on our cam kits now and we are using a comp 977 on our cam and head packages with no problems.
just like the comp 918 springs from a couple of years ago, I think they had a bad batch of springs. We have not had any break from the early spring batches. I had over 10,000 hard miles on mine with no issues.
