your help will be very appreciated, it sucks workin' you tail off and being disapointed. p.s. it also seems bog down between 1st and 2nd.
:banghead:
Your low on tranny fliud. Put the car up on stands or lift. There is a drain plug in the back of the tranny, fill it up while hot and idleing. Fill it till it overflows. Its on the drivers side.
You may have to buy a long tube that screws to the qt of tranny fluid to snake it up in there or get a fliud pump.
The bog between shifts might be TQ management, may have to get LS1 edit.
The GM service manual specifies a temp range that you must be within to check the fluid level (like 78 to 121F). I'm not sure if you have to be in park, neutral or drive with the parking brake on.....one of those, can't remember from the shiftkit install. I do know you have to be real quick once the temp hits the lower mark....it heats up quickly (and expands as a result). Remember to have adequate ventilation while doing this and watch that exhaust pipe!! With the cooler weather it's tempting to lower that garage door. After you've filled it, you may find you still have air entrained in the system, so it may take a few miles for the slipping to disappear. You might want to check the fluid level one more time after the air has been pumped out of your system. Good luck
