Predator vs Hypertech
Could someone educate me on the differences between the Hybertech & Predator Tuning devices. Which one do you feel is the better product ?
I am not sure if this post shouldnt have been in C5 Scan and Tune, but I am here now .

OBD-II diagnostics similar to TECH2 plus a bit more opitons to tweak with. Poor support from vendor though on custom tunes. I might sell mine ( never hooked it up - still new in box ) tell me if you are interested. Make me an offer.

Predator is upgradable, acts as a troubleshooter, and has more adjustments available to the end user. I have always received great support from James (RWTD) and even went to Diablosport to have a custom tune downloaded when I got 3.42's. Johan was terrific ....

From whom did you buy your unit? If you bought from James (a certified Diablosport dealer), he would help you. Proof.... I got my custom tune back from James SAME DAY.
Hypertech vs. Predator, IMO is no comparison. The Predator is much more versatile and useful for most vette owners.

I bought mine new from a seller on Ebay. I just emailed RWTD again , lets see what happens. Yes the Predator is a great tuning tool but the support of RWTD would make it infinately better.

if you have problems email diablo directly. that is what i did, and worked with johan who gave me several tunes to choose from and find the one that worked best in a very timely fashion.

$75 to take me on as a new customer and then the tune was free. Yikes!
Not sure that it would be worth the $ for a mostly stock car like mine.

I was offered the same oppurtunity to become a RWTD customer then all tunes will be free after that. I am going to take it as tuning here is not available & given the mods I am planning would be most beneficial vs. the fee amount.
